Great design doesn’t need a big budget—but it always needs a spark of creativity (and maybe a farewell to chili pepper lights!)
I’m Agustina, the founder of Hidden Nook Interiors. Originally from Argentina, I moved to the U.S. in 2008, bringing with me a rich blend of cultural influences that shape my unique design approach. My journey began in my fiancé’s quirky one-bedroom rental adorned with chili pepper string lights in the living room! While those lights didn’t make the cut, they inspired me to see the hidden potential in every space and embrace the power of creativity to transform a home.
With no budget and lots of imagination, I turned that apartment into a place that felt like ours, proving that great design is less about what you buy and more about making what you have work beautifully. It’s a philosophy I bring to every project: focusing on what’s meaningful, reshuffling when necessary, and creating spaces that truly serve you. And yes, those chili pepper lights found a new place outside our home!
